When I first sat down with Julie and Josh to design their wedding invitation, they shared their vision to create a timeless and elegant invitation that also incorporated the vibrant florals they intended to use at their wedding. Together we came up with a beautiful watercolor design for the envelope liner which seamlessly integrated into their wedding day accessories.

Classic never goes out of style! Combining traditional fonts with a modern square shape created a timeless invitation for this wedding at the iconic Plaza Hotel.

The Chuppah under which a bride and groom stand, represents the home. The walls are open on all four sides to signify that family, friends and those in need are always welcome. Its cover signifies our hope that they will be protected throughout their lives together.

At the conclusion of a wedding ceremony, the groom steps on and breaks a glass. The breaking of the glass has many symbolic interpretations. One important reason is to remind us that even in the midst of our overflowing happiness, we must never forget the destruction of the Jewish people, to remember the suffering, and to remind us that there is still work to be done in repairing our broken world.
As we in the event industry move through a season of celebration, with both our Jewish and non-Jewish clients, we are reminded of the history that connects each of us to our heritage and the importance of being able to practice those traditions openly and safely.
